Time Billboard Dance artist. Kendra Erika is a South Florida native singer/songwriter. Kendra’s Deep House/Pop recording style developed from the eclectic vibes of her surrounding musical culture and community. Focused on being truthful to her core artistry and authentic to who she is as a person, Kendra brings a dynamic cinematic experience to everything she produces.
In December 2016, Kendra hit the Top 10 for 14 weeks on the Billboard Dance Club chart claiming the #9 spot with her breakthrough hit single “Oasis”, produced by Damon Sharpe (Monica, Ariana Grande, Kelly Rowland.)
"Oasis" strikes the perfect blend of cinematic glamour that mingles beautifully amongst lusty vintage pop chords. The single is a unique blend of Kendra’s personal inspiration, innate sense of rhythm and tone and the inspiration of pop great Lana Del Rey and the musical emotions behind her work. Kendra’s goal was to reveal a compelling image within a fresh sound mix. An Oasis isn’t merely supposed to be seen. It’s exactly what Kendra creates with all of her music – a vision.
In June 2017, Kendra released her second Billboard Dance Club single “Under My Skin”, which reached #6 on Billboard Dance Club. Inspired by the alluring Frank Sinatra title, this song brings more of a big-room vibe to the dance club scene. Headlining remixers, such as Marc Stout (Katy Perry’s “Chained to the Rhythm”), have remixed and taken it to their major venues, such as XS Las Vegas.
